Character Summary

Kevin Gonzales is one of the four agents of UNITY. He helped fellow agents Andre Rice, Jeri Wilkes, and Lucy Ng kidnap the six Battler boys and bring them to UNITY. He’s extremely trigger-happy. This became known when he first appeared in Book 21 and continuously pointed his gun at the Battlers when they said something they shouldn’t have.

Kevin, along with Jeri, helped Deyon and Jon locate the other Battlers, who were hidden in various places throughout Alexandria when Pestilence Vermin kidnapped them all in Book 24. It was through the use of chips that’d been carefully placed in their necks while they’d been knocked out the first time they’d met the UNITY agents. Kevin helped them get out of a jam in Book 25, as well, when Albert Labinnac attacked them.

 

Kevin made periodic appearances in Books 28 and 32, as well.

Kevin rarely smiles. One of the few times he does smile is when he kills an enemy in a battle. He claims to be a good driver, but he isn’t — he’s crashed thirty UNITY cars and caused six deaths! Although he isn’t liked by any of the Battlers, he’s still a fairly good ally to them.
