Manchomper has been J.J.’s archenemy ever since the day they first met. He’s been determined to eat him for months. And he has taken his determination up to the next level by going everywhere J.J. goes in an attempt to eat him.

But that’s the least of J.J.’s problems. A mysterious alligator has been coming to him in visions on several occasions. Or are his sights set only on J.J.? . . .

• This book is narrated by J.J., the White Battler.
• This book continues on from Book 17.
• J.J. and Manchomper, for the first time ever, work together. The next time they do this is in Super Battlers 2.
• J.J. finally learns why Manchomper always tries to eat him!
• J.J. meets his ultimate enemy: King Reptilius Gatorus (AKA Predator)!
• Predator, Scala, and Fangorus make their debut in this book.
• Stalker also makes his debut, but near the end of the book. However, his name’s not known until he’s seen again in Book 26.
• J.J. captures a new Battler Animal — a Labrador retriever he later names “Ace.”
• Maurice only appears in the first chapter because it’s actually part of the last chapter of Book 17.  He doesn’t appear for the rest of the book.
• Deyon and Kesse are mentioned, but they do not appear in this book.
• Manchomper is the only Mutant Guerrilla to appear in this book.
