The Newcomer

Aaron and J.J. have just been paid a surprise visit by an old friend, Jon Crawley. To make things even more surprising, they’ve discovered that he’s found a Battler Crystal. And a red one, no less.

Several awful events follow. Jon’s family is kidnapped by the mutants. And the boys’ identities get exposed to Jon. Now that he knows who they are, Aaron and the other Battlers all know what they must do: make Jon one of them. . . .
