Fair Game

DiCapa has done it again. He has poisoned Aaron with a potent poison that will kill him in twelve hours. Just another problem for Jon and the other Battlers, as they are now down by four members.

Just by chance, Jon and the other Battlers receive word from an unknown “ally,” who claims that he has the solution to all of their problems. But when they meet their “ally,” it turns out to be none other than the evil Gamester. And to get their problems solved, it will cost them another visit to his Palace of Fun — and another round of games. . . .

• Gamester returns after last appearing in Super Battlers 3.
• This is J.J.’s first appearance since Book 34!
• For the second time in this series, J.J. is turned into a game piece (while being held captive by Gamester).

• Kesse is fully cured of his paralysis!
• Aaron is cured of his poisoning!
• All eight Battlers reunite at the end of this book!
• Juliet makes a brief appearance in the early chapters of the book. She does not appear in the rest of the book.
• This is the second visit Deyon and Jon have paid to Gamester’s Palace of Fun, and the first one for Shauna and Diahandra.
• The games played this time around are Rueful Roulette, Chaotic Cards, and the Battle Game.
• Gamester finally learns that Jon now owns his former cat, Torch.
• This is the first time Jon has battled with both of his Battler Animals.
• This is Jon’s first time using his Volcanic Eruption spell, which was given to him (off-page) by Shauna and Diahandra.
