Going All Out
Deyon and the other Battlers are on a mission tougher
than any they ever had before — stopping DiCapa from killing the President of
the United States.
The mission is a success, but the Battlers are struck a devastating blow when
DiCapa sneakily learns that Shauna and
Diahandra are the Blue and Purple Battlers.
Now, with all eight identities in his
hand, it is time for both sides to go all out, and DiCapa makes the first move
— by kidnapping all of the Battlers except for Deyon, J.J., and Keese. It is a
really dirty trick of his that’ll lead up to the final battle against DiCapa,
and the end results will change the Battlers’ lives forever. . . .
NOTES:
- This
book is narrated by Deyon, the Gold Battler.
- This
is the final book in the Battlers’ war against DiCapa.
- This is the last
regular title in which J.J. is
the White Battler.
- It is revealed that
Labinnac’s cannibalistic episodes occur because of a chip in his head that
DiCapa had inserted into his brain. It was also used to keep him under DiCapa’s
control.
- DiCapa learns Shauna and Diahandra’s secret identities,
meaning that he has now learned all eight of the Battlers’ identities!
- This is the first
time in quite awhile we have seen the Battlers use their Battler Shrinking
powers. It is the first time Jon
has used his.
- This is the first
time a Battler (Deyon) has transformed back into his normal form during a
battle.
- This book marks the
first of eight occasions in which the Battlers will undergo a Crystal
Advance — a process in which their Battler Crystals store up so much
energy from previous battles, they are ready to move to the next level and
transform into Battler Emeralds. Also, the Battler costumes change, as
well as the Battlers’ abilities. New spells are magically learned and
used. The weapons are the same, but they have more power within them.
- Deyon learns Seismic Punch
as a result of the Crystal Advance!
- This marks the final
appearances of Chief Marshall Anderson, Liam DiCapa, Susan DiCapa, and Albert Labinnac.
