Jay’s overprotective parents, James, Sr., and Diane, have moved to Alexandria.  And they’re not all pleased to find out that Jay’s one of the Battlers. They’re so fearful of the dangers, they demand him to leave the Battlers, much to his disappointment.

Jay and the other Battlers can’t afford to lose one of their own now. Not now that Cast has seized control of Chief Manhunter’s powers and is poised to conquer Earth. But their only hope of keeping Jay on the team is convincing his parents that he can easily handle the dangers of being a Battler. And he’d better prove it to them fast, because Cast has picked up some surprising new allies. . . .
